    Calvin asked the audience:

    – VMware can´t do this! Who can?

    Off course the audience answered

    – Citrix Can!

During this session Citrix brought up technics such as HDX, XenApp and XenDesktop Essentials, XenMobile Essentials for EMS, Smart Tools, Unidesk application layering, etc. XenServer received a little more attention. An important news they brought up is the possibility to protect your environment against attacks with “XenServer with Bitdefender” and “Agentless malware protection”.

Greg Lissy, VP of Product Management talked about Citrix ShareFile. ShareFile helps to win in the cloud and to secure our solutions. Gartner highlights ShareFile as the leader when it comes to “Enterprise file synchronization and sharing”. With a demo Greg showed us how we can work with Approval workflows. A simple way to get a document approved for example by your manager. ShareFile is the only product for synchronization and sharing of files that´s optimized for virtualization.

During a demo they shared with us the simplicity with implementation of NetScaler SD-WAN appliance. Everything is managed in an impressed and humorus manner where we saw a drone that flew over us with a rapped appliance for delivery to the engineer on stage.

I can only say well done Citrix!
