    Introduction

    GDPR is an abbreviation for General Data Protection Regulation.

    GDPR is a new legal framework from EU to regulate the processing of personal data that takes effect on May 25 2018.

    Your integrity is important to us and therefore we have developed this policy to explain how AceIQ AB (“AceIQ”) handles your personal information and what rights you have. This information is addressed to you

    • As a customer of us – when you buy products, services etc.
    • As visiting our website or our social media platforms
    • As a participant in our marketing activities or customer surveys
    • Who otherwise communicate with us, for example by e-mail

    2. What is personal information?

    Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly (ie, together with other data) linked to one as a physical person in life, such as name, email address, phone number, image, social security number and IP address.

     

    3. How do AceIQ handle your personal information and why?

    We handle your personal information to answer questions and handle your cases, such as correcting errors, quote requests, delivering ordered services and agreements and improving our services.

    What do we have for legal basis for the handling:

    • We handle your personal information for our and your legitimate interest in handling your case (balance of interests).

    Data retention:

    • We save your personal information as long as there is an interest from our side and also from your side.

     

    3.3 When you participate in market activities or customer surveys

    In conjunction with marketing activities (lectures, campaigns, events, etc.) or in connection with customer surveys (surveys and interviews, by telephone or via email) we handle the information you provide to us, including names and contact details.

    When you connect to AceIQ Guest Wi-Fi, we are personally responsible for the processing that occurs to connect to the Internet, but not for the continued processing or for the content of your communication via Wi-Fi. When you connect to AceIQ Guest Wi-Fi, we will manage your IP address, MAC address, time stamps if you are using Wi-Fi while you are with us.

    When you visit our website we deal with:

    • Information about how you are using our website,

    We handle your personal information to:

    • Provide digital tools and services
    • Maintain, test and improve our digital tools and services
    • Detect and prevent security attacks, such as virus attacks

    What do we have for legal basis for the handling:

    • We handle your personal data with support in the performance of agreements when we provide Wi-Fi as well as with the aid of balance of interest for our legitimate interests to maintain, test and improve our digital tools and services.

    Data retention:

    • We save your personal information for 1 month after using our digital channels and for 3 months from connecting to our Wi-Fi.

     

    3.5 When we have a legal obligation

    In addition to what is described in the above paragraphs, in some cases, we handle your personal information when we are required by law, for example due to our accounting obligation or at the request of the Authority.

    • When we handle your personal data because we are required by law, we do so in support of a legal obligation.

     

    4. How long do we save your personal information?

    AceIQ stores your personal data as long as it is required to fulfill the purpose of the treatment, or as long as we have to store them by law. Read more about how long we save your data above under each section in Chapter 3.

     

    5. To whom do we provide your personal information?

    AceIQ never sells your information to a third party. However, we may disclose your personal information to the following categories of recipients:

    • Suppliers, both inside and outside the EU / EEA, such as providing IT services, handling customer service cases or performing payment and credit reports on behalf of AceIQ
    • Resellers within and outside Sweden
    • Partners
    • Your bank when you legitimize with Bank ID
    • Other recipients when required by law, other constitution or authority decision

    Recipients who handle personal information on behalf of AceIQ should always enter into a so-called personal data agreement with us in order to ensure that your information is handled correctly and safely. If we use suppliers who handle your personal data on our behalf outside of the EU / EEA, we take special safeguards, such as agreements that include the standardized data transfer clauses adopted by the EU Commission and available on the EU Commission website.

    When your personal information is shared with a recipient who is an independent personally responsible person, such as an authority or a bank, the recipient’s privacy policy and personal data management information apply.

     

    6. How do we protect your personal information?

    Your integrity is important to us and therefore we put security in focus. We take steps to protect your data in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation and established guidelines for information security. This means that we have routines and rules on data protection, for example, that we send your information safely and ensure that the staff only have access to the information they need to perform their work. We also log events in our IT systems and archive data without searchability when your personal data must be stored for a longer period (eg according to the Accounting Act).

    9. How to oppose electronic direct marketing

    AceIQ may use your e-mail address for direct marketing. If you do not want us to use your email address for direct marketing, please feel free to contact us so we face a so-called promotional barrier for your information.
